Dr.P.Viswanathan,HOD & Professor of Pathology – Head of Research Wing.

Dr P Viswanathan is Head of the Department of Pathology. He has completed his MBBS and MD from Tanjavur Medical College in 1982 and 1986 respectively.

He started his teaching career in as a Senior Demonstrator, JIPMER Pondicherry in 1986 followed by Lecturer in Raja Muthai Medical College, Annamalai University. He became Professor at same college in 2002.He has more than 30 years of teaching experience and 160 research publications under his name. His area of interest in research is Dermatopathology, Leprology, Cytological diagnostics and Animal Research.
