Parent-Teacher Meeting – Welcome to Karpaga Vinayaga College of Nursing

Parents teacher meeting are conducted regularly in our institute once in three months for the continuous improvement and development of the student. KVCN collects feedback from various shakeholders including parents during parent meetings.

Reports of parents Teachers Meeting

During parents teachers meeting students concerns are discussed and feedbacks of the parents are recorded. KVCN has conducted parent teachers meetings for the academic year 2024-2025 for all hatches. Over all 80-85% of parents attended the meetings as per schedule.

All the parent teacher meetings are conducted in the respective classroom. The time schedule for Meeting is from 9.30 am 3.30 pm. The parents met the class coordinator, HOD of respective department and subject in- charge. Students academic performance, theory, clinical attendance and attitude is discussed in parent teacher meeting. Parents who are working at abroad or long distance, student’s guardian met the teachers and discussed about the student’s performance.

Parents who could not attend the meeting as per schedule are allowed to meet the respective faculty member within a week period from the date of parent teacher meeting as per their convenience.

During every parent teacher meeting an undertaking is taken from the parents regarding fulfilling the 1A/ attendance percentage as per the statutory norms.

Identified Students needing remedial support based on PTM feedback and internal assessments.
Scheduled Special Classes in Anatomy and Physiology held every fourth Saturday
Informed Parents & Students through official communication channels.
Monitored Attendance & Progress of students attending the special classes.
Collected Feedback from students and parents; response was positive.

The college provided proper prior information regarding vacation periods through official notices, and communication channels. All students and parents were informed in advance, ensuring smooth functioning and planning of academic and administrative activities.
