Department of Orthopaedics has 4 units with one chief for each unit. There are 2 subunits – Paediatric and Arthrology. Department is well equipped with modern instruments and hitech equipments to render patients a world class treatment exclusively at a low or free of cost. There are about 150-200 outpatients per day and more than 2000 surgeries are performed per year. Out of which the department has excelled in knee cap replacement surgery. Few of the faculties are trained abroad too. Separate unit is running 24×7 for emergency services.
Faculties in the department are dedicated and service oriented in training the students towards competency based clinical skills and attitude.
