The admission process is carried out in two categories:

Management Quota
Admission through Single Window System
65% seats for UG programmes are allotted through counseling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education.
The entire admission promotion programmes adhere to and strictly fall within the rules framed by both the Anna University and Government of Tamil Nadu assuring transparency in the process of admission.
The seats under Government quota are transparently filled through the single window system of admission based on Higher Secondary examination marks (merit basis).
Admission to various PG programmes is done through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University.
Admission through Management Quota
35% seats are allotted through the Consortium of Self Financing Engineering Colleges under management quota
After the 12th standard results are published the admission process is announced through advertisements in newspapers and in the college website. The interested students will take up the Consortium Eligibility Test (CET).
Based on the rank list published by the Consortium, the meritorious candidates are admitted in the courses desired by them.
